Grandpa's Orchard
Readers will feel, smell and hear what it is like to live on a hazelnut farm in Darcy Kirk’s first children’s book, GRANDPA'S ORCHARD. This story is told from the point-of-view of a young boy who lives on the farm with his twin brother, parents and grandparents. Everyone works together on the family farm and cares for the orchard, especially his grandpa who started the farm so many years ago.

About Darcy
Darcy Thomas Kirk was born in Cut Bank, Montana in 1977 and in 1979 her family moved to Lebanon, Oregon. Darcy now lives in Independence, Oregon with her twin sons and her husband Lance, where they farm a third generation hazelnut farm. An avid photographer, writer and active wife and mother of twin boys she is deeply involved in her community and a member of the local school board.
